Coming toward the other end on Wrightson Road which continues onto the Audrey Jeffers Highway, is the Hasely Crawford Stadium which is directly opposite Movie Town Mall. This bit of infrastructure is a landmark since it is a Nation Stadium named after one of our talented football athlete.
Across the area of study this is the second sporting complex that we have come across. The first being the burnt down fish market in Sea Lots and now there’s the Stadium in West Wrightson Road. The residence of East Wrightson Road has occupied a burn down dilapidated building to accommodate their recreational activities, whilst West Wrightson Road have been given a massive structure of concrete, steel and perfect roofing to accommodate their recreational needs. Again here is clear divide along the lines of power, class and culture between the East and West end of a single road.
